Human Intelligence is Social
Human Beings have been evolving as social beings for millions of years.Although we share social instincts with many other species, our language and cognitive ability have evolved in ways that have lead to us being the globe's dominant species. Our social psychology is tribally based. Our language abstracts from the limits of time and concrete activity that characterize material reality. As a result, we communicate with one another in ways that abstract from material reality. As a result, we have become a contracting, problem solving, and collaborative species that can move beyond our genetically encoded instincts.

The Ethics of AI
AI potential means that human beings must address the ethical issues about its use in a way that establishes global guidelines. Doing so is daunting. But adding AI to weapons and international conflict, thereby putting the decision to kill or to compete into software which executes without human oversight as part of international conflict and warfare is a threat that must be addressed, not ignored.
